The launch at Karnal was well attended by leaders and believers of the churches in Haryana. The Nyishi TTB Luke was launched on the evening of 9th February during the 4th Annual Conference of the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC) host by the Nyorch Baptist Church, Yupia Pastoral Range, Naharlagun. The program was attended by all the pastors and dignitaries under NBCC. The event was attended by over 4000 people.
The event in Purnia, Bihar was attended by 600 plus Pastors and lay leaders. It was done in partnership with New India Evangelistic Association and we are very grateful to Dr. Alex Philip for this collaborative effort. 316 people committed to start Radio Home groups in 17 Languages. Apart from giving out the audio Bible study of Luke’s Gospel in Angika and Surjapuri, 400 Maithili and Bhojpuri people also received programs in their language.
The Systematic Audio Bible Study in Badaga was launched on 19th February 2019 at Kothagiri, Tamil Nadu. Around 120 believers participated in this event. TWR India distributed 10 Radio Home kits containing the Audio Study of Gospel of John while another 30 radio home commitments were received. People witnessing in the Badaga language testified that this was the first time they saw such a meeting and believe that this will be a great blessing for their community.
The Audio Bible Study of the book of Luke was launched in Malpahari and Santhali languages in a launch event held in Dumka on the 24th and 25th of January 2019 The event was well received and was attended by pastors and small group leaders from the area. Digital players were distributed to those in attendance.
In an event attended by over 65 people; the book of Luke from ‘Thru the Bible’ Audio Bible commentary was launched in Udupi and Mangalore in Tulu language. According to one of the attendees from Mangalore, “I believe these messages will help me to grow in the Lord personally as well as a family.”
