In spite of India being considered a super-power, there are currently about 80 million illiterates in the age group of 15-35.  Issues they encounter on a regular basis are unemployment, drug addiction, suicidal tendency, homosexuality, peer pressure, prostitution, corruption and terrorism.

TWR’s response includes the broadcast of value based programs in Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali, English, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati languages, share Biblical views through follow-up Christian programs in 15 new languages and conducting youth camps in partnership with the local church and listener meetings.

Joseph Groups

The name of this group takes inspiration from Joseph, the 11th of Jacob’s 12 sons and Rachel’s firstborn.  Joseph was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, yet rose to become the most powerful man in Egypt next to Pharaoh.  When famine struck the land he brought the sons of Israel down to Egypt, where they were settled in the Land of Goshen.

To deal with issues relating to the youth using Biblical principles and to mentor them, TWR has produced value based programs in five languages.  Also in the pipeline are Christian programs that would specially cater to them in 15 new languages which would be played at Joseph Groups.
