My friend and I were on our way to attend an examination. We walked silently, my thoughts going over everything I had learnt in preparation for the test ahead when my companion suddenly complained of pain in the chest. He clutched on to his chest, his expression filled with pain and suggested that we return home. Not knowing what to do, I sat him down on the side of the path and prayed for him in Jesus’ name. Within a few minutes to our astonishment the pain subsided and we went on to appear for the exam.
There were other such incidents that revealed the power of prayer and healing that is possible in Jesus’ name. I recall an occasion when my mother took ill and soon as I prayed for her, she regained her health. Those were miracles indeed, brought about by my strong faith that I reaffirm every day; as well as the intimacy I share with Jesus Christ. My experience of his grace and mercy continually inspire me to share the love of God with everyone I come across.
Looking back, I need to thank a friend of mine who first introduced me to the program. Having never known the living God earlier, it was a novel experience for me. I first heard about Jesus in February 2011 when I listened to your radio program. There was something about the message that touched me and I believe it was a turning point in my life. Jesus was real to me and he answered my prayers.
Ever since, I have been listening to your program regularly. I have learnt about the need to be born again. Since then I have confessed my sins and repented, asking Jesus to come into my heart. He has forgiven me and I feel new, my faith strengthened. Kindly pray for my parents, that they too come to know Jesus and accept Him into their hearts.
About a decade ago, there was no electricity in my village in Maharashtra. Soon after work was done for the day children and youth normally engaged in playing a game or two or just sat about chatting. Playing cricket in a makeshift pitch using sticks as their wicket was a favourite among the youth, especially Anosh.
Anosh however, had something else planned for that evening. India and Pakistan were playing a one day international match in...Read more
Why is it that bad habits are so hard to break? They entice you and once you are caught in their tentacles, they hold fast and are difficult to break from. Believe me, I had several of them and they kept me attracted to worldly pleasures, fuelled by feelings of pride, greed and anger.
When I first began listening to the Upasana program, although a believer, I was far from being a true Christian. I was...Read more
When so many deaths occurred in Gopi’s family, owing to snake bite, the relatives were convinced that the family was under a curse. Rather than getting rid of the poisonous reptiles that made their habitat the dense foliage that Kerala is famous for, the relatives simply talked about the problem, wondering who the next victim would be.
It was quite by accident that Gopi met a person who suggested that he listen to the Jeeva Sandesham...Read more

I come from a different faith. I was severely addicted to alcohol for a very long time and used to wander about fully drunk. Thankfully, my children found me and brought me back and tried to reason with me...Read more

While modernized countries might promote reading and writing as sacrosanct, here in the interior villages of western India, little value is placed upon it. I therefore grew up like my tribal family before me, mostly illiterate and often dumb-founded by the topics we heard being discussed as we sat around the village camp fire at night.
An unexpected turn of events, one that I never dreamed of
